I would like to share with you that it is few days to Easter were by our kids and poor families are in wait for you to put smile on their faces during this time, while other eating and rejoicing remembering the resurrection of Jesus Christ who laid down his life for the sake of our lives these families will still go hungry unless good people like you stand and give hope this Easter.
This is an invitation for you dear friend to consider if possible this Easter to help, consider the hungry children/ poor families.
It is $ 20 dollars to feed four families with one kilogram of meat each family
It is $ 20 dollars to feed 50 children one meal

SAVE A POOR FAMILY

Rasty Nakalema 50 years lost her only daughter 2010 two years now, the daughter had three kids you see in the photo above the husband of her daughter left the kids in the house after the death of the wife and went were no one knows by then they were living in Kasese two hundred miles from our orphanage in Mityana. After six months the grand mum you see in the photo above went to visit her grand kids in Kasese she found them in the house helpless with no one cared for them. She reported to Police and took the kids to Mityana were she lives now, this is a single mother who used to live on farming on the rented land to get food and some money for the last two years.
As we are sharing now she failed on season due to prolonged dry season and she was found to be HIV/AIDS positive with diabetes and high blood pressure the in December 2011 she spent all that month on sick bed in the hospital the older grand kid Shifah Namukasa 7 years old was left to care for the rest of her two young brothers. as you can see in the photo below One day in January 2012 she was cooking tea and she burned her right arm and taken to government hospital and the two kids were left helpless.
After the grand Mother getting better she was taken to home from the hospital and here grand daughter was healed from burned right arm, the doctors advised the grand mother to stop cultivating land because her condition may go worse to death, no job at all she is very weak and all the kids you see in the photo are in school going age but they are not in school because the grand mother cannot afford it. Rasty Nakalema 50 years lost her only daughter 2010 two years now, the daughter had three kids you see in the photo above the husband of her daughter left the kids in the house after the death of the wife and went were no one knows by then they were living in Kasese two hundred miles from our orphanage in Mityana. After six months the grand mum you see in the photo above went to visit her grand kids in Kasese she found them in the house helpless with no one cared for them. She reported to Police and took the kids to Mityana were she lives now, this is a single mother who used to live on farming on the rented land to get food and some money for the last two years.
As we are sharing now she failed on season due to prolonged dry season and she was found to be HIV/AIDS positive with diabetes and high blood pressure the in December 2011 she spent all that month on sick bed in the hospital the older grand kid Shifah Namukasa 7 years old was left to care for the rest of her two young brothers. as you can see in the photo below One day in January 2012 she was cooking tea and she burned her right arm and taken to government hospital and the two kids were left helpless.
After the grand Mother getting better she was taken to home from the hospital and here grand daughter was healed from burned right arm, the doctors advised the grand mother to stop cultivating land because her condition may go worse to death, no job at all she is very weak and all the kids you see in the photo are in school going age but they are not in school because the grand mother cannot afford it. Happy New Year! On behalf of our board, I wish you and your families and employees a prosperous and exciting 2012! And as most people are busy dealing with winter weather, we here at Open Heart Orphanage Ministry is actually getting ready for summer season in Uganda and a new year for kids to join school classes.
That’s why we’re turning to you now. The board had to make some hard decisions this year, and unfortunately for the first time in a very long time, we have a big number of kids who are not yet sponsored numbered 300 kids your help is needed now more than ever.
We rely upon individual sponsors from all around the world to help us keep moving, and we’re hoping you’ll join in support too in this year 2012. Open Heart Orphanage Ministry is a non profit organization, on the way this January to get our taxi exemption letter so that when sponsors send food and other items to benefit the orphaned kids will be tax free . We could use all the help you’re willing to give with out taxes.
This year we expect many volunteers come to our fields throughout the year from many different parts of the world.
We continue to welcome more volunteers to join us. We hope that you will give serious consideration to this cause to donate this year. Open Heart Orphanage Ministry has a long history and has touched many children’s lives. Please help us keep the tradition going of providing education and feeding for kids.
